ABOUT RIVER BOAT PARK
Riverboat Park is a collaboration between the Whitecourt River Boat Association and the Town of Whitecourt. The Parks construction began in 1981 by the Associations volunteer members and was made possible through donations from the business community. In subsequent years, a large shelter, a cookhouse, and a playground were added.
Maintenance of the Park: grounds, access road, outhouses, playground, and garbage collection are all managed by the Town of Whitecourt.
The River Boat Association maintains the boat launch, the cook house, and the large shelter.
The large shelter is available for use to local Companies and Organizations using a pre-approval reservation process. Please email the Association to inquire about a reservation.
